About Your Instructor

Boling, PhD, is a former Associate Professor and founder of Northeast K9 Conditioning. Erica specializes in teaching sport and working dog handlers how to create peak performing, canine athletes through customized canine fitness programs. Erica is a Certified Canine Fitness Trainer (CCFT), Certified Canine Massage Provider, member of the United States Federation of Sleddog Sports (USFSS), and former member of their USA National Team. Additionally, she is a founding member of North Pocono Search, Rescue and Recovery. Erica’s direct involvement in SAR, narcotics detection, and protection/patrol work has solidified her as a vital resource in the field of canine operational training. Erica's strategic approach to canine fitness program design, founded on evidence-based practices and decades of experience, ensures that each training solution is not only grounded in proven principles but also precisely tailored to the unique needs of every canine-handler team.
